ALBA Contractors, Inc. completed a concrete paver installation for the City of Solon following a request from the city’s Public Works department. Our work centered on the pedestrian area surrounding a town fountain, and we also performed concrete and brick work for the neighboring gazebo.
The fountain and gazebo are part of the same civic setting, with two distinct exterior applications within a prominent public space.
Concrete Pavers Around the Town Fountain
We installed the concrete pavers that form the broad pedestrian surface around the fountain. Rectangular modular units are arranged in a repeating pattern, with the paved field following the circular geometry of the fountain rather than forming a simple rectangular area.
A darker perimeter band defines the outer edge of the paved surface. Together, the repeating paver pattern, circular layout, and contrasting border give the fountain area a clearly defined appearance within the surrounding civic space.
The modular paving extends across the pedestrian area while accommodating the curved form of the central feature, making the paver installation a substantial visual element around the fountain.
Concrete and Brick Work at the Gazebo
Our work in the same public setting also included concrete and brick work for the nearby gazebo.
The gazebo visibly incorporates multiple masonry materials and is connected to the surrounding pedestrian space through steps and paved approaches. The fountain and gazebo are neighboring elements within the broader civic setting, while the work at each involved a different material application.
Around the fountain, our scope focused on the modular concrete paver surface and its circular layout. At the gazebo, we completed separate concrete and brick work. Together, these scopes combined concrete paver, concrete, and brick work within the same municipal setting.
