ALBA Contractors, Inc. completed commercial concrete replacement at The Kennedy Group’s headquarters in Mentor, OH. The project involved the facility’s rear parking area and included concrete serving as the loading-zone and truck-access surface for vehicles approaching the headquarters’ loading docks.

Our scope included complete tear-out, preparation, and repouring of the concrete area. The completed work provides a rear paved surface used for delivery and transportation access at the facility.
A Rear Concrete Area With an Operational Role
The pavement involved in this project serves more than a general parking function. It also provides the truck-access and loading-zone connection serving the facility’s loading docks, making the concrete directly relevant to day-to-day loading-dock operations.
The finished work covers a substantial paved area.
A long concrete section connects to a wider perpendicular section, with curved transitions where the two areas meet. Regularly spaced joints divide the surface into panels, and the new concrete meets existing paved surfaces at the ends of the completed area.

Complete Tear-Out, Preparation, and Repouring
Our work followed a complete replacement sequence that included tearing out the existing concrete, preparing the area, and repouring the concrete. The scope was a full concrete replacement rather than a surface treatment or isolated repair.
That sequence carried the project from removal of the existing concrete through placement of the new surface. The completed work now serves the rear parking and truck-access functions included in the project.
