The right concrete mix is critical to the outcome of your driveway. The concrete mix used is a special mix developed by and unique to us. It was developed based on 20 years worth of concrete experience to be the best performing concrete in the Cleveland area climate. You should also know that we don’t water down the concrete mix to make it cheaper or easier to install.
If needed, concrete mesh is laid so that it is embedded in the concrete, not just simply laid on the ground. We use #8 mesh included with your project, not as an upsell like other contractors.
All driveways are installed with 4″ of concrete. Beware of contractors that may shortchange you on the proper depth for your concrete.
Overworking concrete reduces its strength. With proper skills and the right tools concrete is not overworked by the installers. All of ALBA’s installers are skilled and trained at the proper installation of concrete.
